About the Speaker

Pamela Cook, PsyD; Neuropsychologist

Dr. Pamela Cook attained her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Trinity Christian College and her Master’s and Doctoral degrees from Midwestern University in Clinical Psychology. Her training experiences have included working in acute and long-term psychiatric mental health facilities, a residential treatment program, and a community hospital. Dr. Cook views neuropsychology as a way for individuals and families to better understand how the brain impacts behavior, and when there are changes in the way a loved one is functioning, identifying the cause and how to improve, maintain or manage those changes.

Dr. Cook specializes in neuropsychological assessments for movement disorders, specifically Parkinson’s Disease and Lewy Body Dementia, additional neurodegenerative disorders including Alzheimer’s dementia, vascular dementia, Frontotemporal dementia, and other health related cognitive changes.
