ACEPT ELECTION NOMINATIONS
ACEPT 2021 President Elect Nominations Form
This year we have one position on the ACEPT Executive Committee we would like to receive Nominations for: President-Elect.
The President Elect will learn from the guidance of the veteran Presidents and collaborate with the executive committee to make decisions, problem solve issues, and develop new strategies for bringing our community together. The President-Elect shall oversee the practicum fair, coordinate annual elections, and perform duties assigned by the President. In the absence of the President or in the event of the President’s inability to act, the President-Elect shall perform the duties of the President, and when so acting, shall have all the powers of and be subject to all the restrictions upon the President. The President-Elect shall commence his or her or their one-year term at the meeting at the annual conference subsequent to an election.
The term requirements for this position are as follows:
- President-Elect: 3 year total term (1 year as President-Elect, 1 year as President, 1 year as Past President).
- Please use the form link to nominate an individual for the Executive Committee 2020-2021 President-Elect and complete the form no later than April 2nd, 2021.
- All nominees will be contacted to respond with acceptance or decline of the nomination. Voting will occur by virtual ballot prior to the May 14th, 2021 Virtual Conference.

- Please note for each nomination we have asked nominators to provide at least one additional person of contact that also may share knowledge about your nominee.

We ask that sites do NOT self-nominate this year; however, we will accept nominations from students/trainees, graduate academic programs, and colleagues who are not employed by the training agency or department no later than April 2nd, 2021.
Please also share the nomination form link with your trainees for them to complete. When completing these nomination forms please review the outline in form for aspects of training and supervision that support a nomination for this award.
ACEPT Awards for Outstanding Clinical Supervisor and Awards for Outstanding Training Site will be presented at the ACEPT Virtual Conference on May 14th, 2021.
